Education:

Rockhurst University, Doctorate in Physical Therapy

Strengths In the Field:

Kathleen has extensive experience in aquatic therapy with children ages birth to 8 years old with a variety of diagnoses.  She loves seeing the kids be able to work toward their developmental goals in an aquatic environment that can be so beneficial to them.  She also enjoys working with children with gross motor developmental delay and their families to work towards family goals that will help improve their child’s participation with peers and in the community.  Her experience with children includes working with kids with Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, genetic disorders, medical complexities, and a variety of other diagnoses.

Kathleen is trained in Total Motion Release (TMR) Level 1, certified in harness gait training, and has been trained in treating torticollis through Cindy Miles’ hands-on class.

Personal Interests:

Kathleen grew up on the East Coast and is excited to be back close to family after some time in the Midwest.  She enjoys spending time with her family including her three girls and their Australian Shepherd.  She is hoping for another Superbowl win from the Kansas City Chiefs this coming football season.
