We understand the importance of quality of life. Language and life skills transforms how we see our world and how we interact with others. That’s why for decades, we’ve served adults and children in our four office locations including Wilmington, Elizabethtown and Shallotte. In November 2021, we proudly opened the first Developmental Gym by Fun Factory in Wilmington, NC. Our family focused practice is composed of a team of energetic and talented Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Assistants. Together we are committed to the rehabilitation and education of our patients and their families.
We treat patients in one of our four outpatient clinics, school, day cares or even in the patients’ own homes. Our staff is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Examiner, the American Speech Language Hearing Association, and The North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy .

About our owner and director, Amy Nolan
Amy grew up in Roanoke, Virginia and has extensive experience working with children with special needs and their families to develop a custom therapy program. In addition, she works with acute patients to begin rehabilitation of both communication and swallowing dysfunction. Amy has received education on the retraining of the neuromuscular function of dysphagia patients.
Amy is also a certified therapist for VitalStim, the Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing (LIPS) and a certified SpeechEasy provider.
She has always been known as the therapist who will go the extra mile for anyone.
