I graduated from Cape Fear Community College in 2006 with a degree in Applied Science as an
Occupational Therapy Assistant. I then continued my education graduating from Mount Olive
University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.
Strengths in the Field
Upon graduating I worked in multiple settings including Pediatric settings providing therapy
in-home, in therapeutic clinics, daycares and within the school systems and I also have
experience working in nursing homes. I have experience working with sensory diets,
Handwriting Without Tears in order to improve fine motor handwriting abilities, along with
completion of courses on Vestibular Dysfunction.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, 2 children and 3 dogs. We enjoy
spending summer days in our backyard swimming and hanging out by our firepit. I also enjoy
spending time at the beach with friends and volunteering at my church.
