Education
I graduated from Cape Fear Community College in 2006 with a degree in Applied Science as an
Occupational Therapy Assistant. I then continued my education graduating from Mount Olive
University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.
Strengths in the Field
Upon graduating I worked in multiple settings including Pediatric settings providing therapy
in-home, in therapeutic clinics, daycares and within the school systems and I also have
experience working in nursing homes. I have experience working with sensory diets,
Handwriting Without Tears in order to improve fine motor handwriting abilities, along with
completion of courses on Vestibular Dysfunction.
Personal Interests
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, 2 children and 3 dogs. We enjoy
spending summer days in our backyard swimming and hanging out by our firepit. I also enjoy
spending time at the beach with friends and volunteering at my church.
