Laura Graff, MA, CCC-SLP

Education:

University of Northern Iowa, Master of Arts, and Bachelor of Arts in Speech -Language Pathology and Audiology

 

Strengths in the Field:

Laura grew up in the small town of Mallard, Iowa.  After completing her Masters at the University of Northern Iowa in 2000, she traded in the show for the islands and moved to Hawaii.  She lived there for 6 years and worked in the public schools, as well as in-home with children ages 0-3.  Laura, her husband, and their 2 children settled in Wilmington, NC in 2006.

Laura has worked exclusively with toddlers and young children with a wide variety of delays over the past 20 years! She loves working in early intervention as she gets to be of such tremendous growth in this population!

Laura earned an emphasis in Motor Speech Disorders during her Masters program.  This led to her passion of treatment of childhood apraxia of speech. She specializes in helping non-verbal children access their words.
