East Carolina University, Master of Science, Speech-Language Pathology
Strengths in the field:
Holly felt a calling to the field of speech-language pathology as a teenager, and she has worked various jobs in the Therapy Works clinic. After completing her master’s degree, she worked in both private practice and elementary school settings. Holly particularly enjoys articulation therapy, language therapy for school-age children, and play-based language therapy for early intervention.
Holly took American Sign Language courses while at ECU. She loves to communicate with the deaf population and to teach ASL to young children, which encourages language skills. In addition, Holly has years of experience working with children who have genetic disorders, brain injuries or who are on the autism spectrum.
She enjoys gardening, going to the beach, baking, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends. Holly is often involved with local church activities and extracurricular activities for her two daughters.
