Anne is from North Carolina and received her Master’s in Speech Language Pathology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
About:
She recently joined Therapy Works after relocating from Durham, NC. While in Durham, she worked with children of all ages, including Early Intervention and all grades in the public schools. Prior to her career with the public schools, she worked with preschool children in homes, preschools, daycare centers, and early learning centers for children with special needs.
Special Interests:
Anne has a special interest in treating young children with language delays and enjoys working with families to develop strategies to help their children at home. She has experience with receptive and expressive language delays/disorders; articulation and phonological delays; pragmatics; fluency; developmentally delayed; cognitive delays; Down syndrome; apraxia; and autism.
Hobbies
In her spare time, she enjoys walking, spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, reading, and traveling. Anne is licensed by the N.C Board of Examiners and has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
