Strengths in the field:

Ashley recently moved to Wilmington from Northern New Jersey. She has more than a decade of experience working with individuals with a wide range of disabilities. Growing up with an Uncle and very close family friend with special needs, Ashley knew from a young age she wanted to work in the field. She worked as a Recreation Aid throughout high school and some of college, then went on to become a Group Home Manager. Throughout those years she learned about a wide variety of disabilities, different communication devices, and various adaptive equipment. She gained experience on how to help individuals participate in their everyday lives. While in high school, she volunteered at Pony Power Therapies, a non-profit organization with therapeutic riding for individuals who need extra support. She’s always had a passion for working with individuals with special needs. 

Personal Interests:

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her new husband and exploring their new state. She enjoys going to the beach, playing disc golf, and traveling. She also loves spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
