Education:
I was born in Monroe NC, and graduated from Pitt Community College in Greenville, NC in 2012. I have had the opportunity to provide occupational therapy services in school systems, daycare facilities, nursing homes, and home health settings. This has given me experience treating autism spectrum disorders, oral motor weaknesses, sensory processing, and ADHD/ADD disorders. In 2016 I moved to Carolina Beach, North Carolina. Since relocating to the area, I have continued to work with the pediatric population, and I am now a part of the Therapy Works team.
Strengths in the field:
Since graduating I have taken continuing education courses focusing on handwriting without tears, sensory integration, pediatric feeding disorders, and oral motor skills.
Personal Interests:
In my spare time, I love riding bikes with my kids, and swimming at the beach. We also love to take family camping trips and being outdoors.
